To the Materials Science Program at UCLA:

On behalf of PPG and our leadership team, we would like to thank UCLA for the partnership that we have benefitted from over the years.  One of PPG’s goals is to build relationships with colleges/universities who will advance diversity in STEM careers. In support of this goal, the PPG College Relations grants have been established to fund targeted programmatic activities to develop a skilled workforce for today and a generation of innovators for tomorrow.

The PPG Foundation supports educational initiatives emphasizing diversity and under-represented populations and focusing on programmatic initiatives. The PPG Foundation has approved a grant of:

$10,000: provide two $5,000 scholarships to students in an under represented population in the Materials Science program.

The instructions to formally apply for the PPG Foundation grant are attached.  It is important to PPG that this application be completed by Wednesday, December 1, 2021 so that the program receives the grant prior to December 15, 2021.

Preferred payment is via ACH on our application.
