The Materials Research Society will be hosting a special presentation by Dr. Bryan McEnerney regarding advanced composite materials, the challenges of materials insertion, and rapid prototyping, as well as some of his experience in the industry. Dr. McEnerney is currently working as an Engineer at Aerojet Rocketdyne, and is also the Lecturer for Materials Science and Engineering 160 (Introduction to Ceramics).
The event will be on 11/21, in EV 2101 from 4-6pm. The first hour will be devoted to Dr. McEnerney's presentation, while the second hour will be a chance for questions and socializing (with food for those who attend the first hour, don't be late!).
This event is open to all undergraduate and graduate students, and is a fantastic opportunity to learn more about some of the materials that the industry has to offer.
